Bushfire Recovery Grants - Supporting Communities in Recovery

Community spirit is vital to the resilience and recovery of towns and villages impacted by the recent bushfires and to the emotional healing of individual community members.

COORDINARE - the South Eastern NSW Primary Health Network, is inviting local organisations in bushfire affected communities to apply for funding for community activities that aim to strengthen social connectedness, emotional wellbeing and assist communities to recover and heal from the recent bushfires.

Organisations and community groups based in the following areas are eligible to apply:

  • Bega Valley
  • Eurobodalla
  • Goulburn-Mulwaree
  • Queanbeyan-Palerang
  • Shoalhaven
  • Snowy-Monaro
  • Upper Lachlan Shire

Grants of up to $10,000 are available under the new Commonwealth funded Supporting Communities in Recovery program to fund grassroots community-focused health and wellbeing initiatives. There are two tiers of grants available:

  • Level 1: up to $1,500 available for prompt release for new community gatherings
  • Level 2: $1,501 to $10,000 for wider-ranging or more comprehensive projects

    To apply for a bushfire recovery Supporting Communities in Recovery grant:

    1. Read the Application Guidance Document
    2. Ensure that you are within an eligible Local Government Area
    3. Complete the application form by either:
